This stop is the perfect way to break up the 5.5-hour drive, giving you a chance to witness incredible wildlife, including the famous 20-foot American crocodiles that call the Carara Biological Reserve home. After the safari, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch.
Keep an eye out for the rare Scarlet Macaw, along with over 50 other bird species, and don’t miss the "Jesus Christ Lizards" that dash across the water – a favorite among children.
