General Information About Kayaking at Arenal Lake
Our journey takes us to El Fosforo in the town of Castillo,
nestled on the lake's shores, an ideal launch point In our operation center at el Fosforo, equip yourself with paddles and life jackets, and our kayaks await by
the water's edge.
Before to get on the water, you will receive a brief instructions about how to paddel and safety rules then we start exploring the different bays, offering sightings of diverse bird species like the
"Flycatcher," "Kingfisher," "Great Blue Heron,"
and "Anhinga." Be on the lookout for howler monkeys and other
wildlife in the surrounding trees. Your guide accompanies you, providing
historical insights about the lake and helping refine your paddling skills.
After your excursion, we return to our
base in Castillo for a well-earned snack featuring seasonal fruits and
refreshing beverages. Our facilities include restrooms, showers, and changing
rooms, ensuring your comfort for all lake activities.
We also offer other ways to explore the lake, such as Stand Up Paddle.
