Our professional, certified guides will prepare you for an exciting challenge as you navigate 10 kilometers of thrilling Class II-III rapids. ADVENTURE CONNECTION LOGISTICS:
1. Pick-Up: Your Adventure Connection van will pick you up at your hotel in the Arenal Volcano area. Please ensure you're fully packed and have checked the hotel safe. Be ready 5 minutes before your scheduled pick-up time in case we arrive early.
2. Be Prepared for Adventure: Please come dressed and ready for action! To maximize your time, have your daypack prepared with essentials like sunscreen, a change of clothes, a hat, and secure shoes so you’re ready to go when we arrive at the river.
3. Scenic Drive: We’ll drive along the scenic, winding roads of Arenal before heading to the Balsa River, about 45 minutes away.
4. Arrival at the Balsa River: Upon arrival at our private property, you’ll be fitted with helmets and paddles. Our guides will provide instructions before embarking on this incredible river float. Don’t forget to apply sunscreen, as some sections of the river are exposed while others are shaded by the beautiful canopy.
5. Rafting Adventure: You’ll spend about 2 hours on the river, navigating the fun and thrilling rapids. Afterward, we’ll load back into the van and head to Hunters & Gatherers for a hearty tropical lunch.
6. Continue Your Journey: After lunch, your Adventure Connection will take you straight to your hotel in Manuel Antonio—door-to-door service!
