Manuel Antonio National Park Hike

A great hike near the Manual Antonio Park

Manuel Antonio National Park Hike

This is an informative two-mile long trail that weaves throughout Manuel Antonio National Park and takes it's visitors on an educational journey to get to know the exotic plants and animals that live there. This is a great activity to see monkeys and enjoy the beach from a whole new perspective.

Your nature guide will occasionally stop and tell you about the history and information of these interesting creatures in the jungle. You can event take advantage of the guide's telescope and find birds or creature hidden far away. There are 3 species of monkeys, sloths, many species of birds, reptiles and butterflies. During the hike you will stop for a swim or a chance to relax on the beach and enjoy a snack.

Great hike. Saw lots of sloths and even one with a baby. Saw monkeys, lizards, grasshoppers, spiders, raccoons, etc. and got to spend about an hour at the beach. Beautiful. They have spotting scope so you can see things up close. Would suggest wearing swimsuit there with coverup as it is very warm and humid and hard to change clothes. Had watermelon, pineapple and drinks when got back. Be sure to take plenty of water.

The guide on this hike was very good. She was able to point out a number of animals, birds, reptiles and other interesting facts about the National Park. We saw monkeys, sloths, bats, deer, lizards, snake, insects. The hike ended at the beautiful beach within the National Park- spectacular.
